2026 Furniture Trends
Trend 1: The Reign of Greige
Grey + beige = "greige". At its peak in 2026:
- Works with every decorating style
- Makes small spaces look larger
- Modern and classic at the same time
Lorien suggestion: A greige sofa + a light wood dining table.
Trend 2: Organic Shapes
Hard corners are out, rounded shapes are in:
- Oval coffee tables
- Curved chairs
- Rounded armrests
An advantage for families with children too — furniture without sharp corners is safer.
Trend 3: The Return of Solid Wood
Growing awareness of sustainability:
- Repairable (scratches can be removed)
- The surface can be refinished
- The most economical in the long run
At Lorien we use hornbeam and beech sourced from Eastern Europe.
Trend 4: The Colour Formula
- 70% neutral (beige, grey, cream)
- 20% base (tan, wood)
- 10% accent (olive, burgundy, mustard)
Trend 5: Multifunctional
- Corner sofas with a bed function
- Coffee tables with storage lids
- Extendable dining tables
